Curious Baby

Came back from a trip to Maui and had to draw one of the many sea turtles we saw during our visit. I like to think the sea turtle is my spirit animal.

Here in Florida we also have a great number of turtles. Certain times of the year I volunteer to look for baby sea turtles that have hatched, made it out to the seaweed some 50 miles offshore, and then sadly get swept back onto our beaches when storms or strong winds hit. One day we transported 27! Some moving around a lot, most extremely tired, all however, cute!! So many of them saved, yay! Stay out there little ones!
