Hayday or Heyday?

What is the meaning of hay day and where did it originate?

The word is actually “heyday” and has nothing to do with hay, the dried grass that is used as animal feed lol

Dictionary definition:
Heyday = the period of one’s greatest popularity, vigor, or prosperity, comes from the old Germanic word “heida” meaning “hurrah!”

You learn something new every day 😀
